It’s not exactly a cheap device for people to buy two of, given that most are going to place their Apple devices on the mat overnight to charge. If a couple are both Apple device owners and want their own charging pads to use at night, that’s $300 just to charge your devices. I think most people will deal with a bunch of cords instead.
However, the price is reflective of the quality of the product and its versatility. The charging pad is an excellent investment for Apple users who want a convenient and efficient way to charge their devices. That convenience comes at a cost, like anything else.
